recruiting for this season. To maximize our hours in running practices plus recruiting I am changing it up a bit this season.

DS, You will recruit Offense.

Howler, you will recruit Defense.

remember the way to find the best guys in each region is to go to the all-star games and look at the roster go after the first team guys.(if you need help with this just ask please)


All-Star games ( make sure you attend the ones below)

Howler- Florida in Orlando, FL., Virginia-Carolina in Norfolk, VA.

DS- Northwest in Bismark, ND, California in San Fransico, CA

Sooner- Texas in Houston, TX, Great Lakes in Chicago, IL, KY-IN-TN in Nashville, TN, Mid-South in St. Louis, MO.

I will run practices with my coaches and call the offered players. Howler make sure to give me a list of guys you need practiced and what they need improved on such as our 2 young LB's that I know need to work on tackling and i will make sure to get them in there.

Next season we will rotate who is out recruiting and who is running practices that way we get a change every so often.

here is what we will do. I am going to divide up the all-star games between us. We will each have 4 a piece and I will have the 1 left over so we hit them all and can still get practices done.


DS, you will have the following regions.

1. Northwest
2. California
3. Southwest
4. Ohio-Michigan

Howler you will have.

1. Florida
2. Virginia-Carolina
3. Northeast
4. Mid- Atlantic

Then I will take

1. Texas
2. Great Lakes
3. Mid-South
4. KY-IN-TN
5. Deep South

Same thing applies. make sure you attend at least 2 of those all-star games or 3 if you have you have some with 3 different days.

Scout the first team guys off each roster as those will be the best players in each region.

It is funny that you posted that cuz I have the first three you assigned me and then I went to Michigan/Ohio to try to view that game, but I can't because I already have a game to watch them.

Sooner, is your idea of only two of us recruiting going to give us enough time each day to scout and get back to the specific city for the game? We would only be able to scout a small area of the country each day, and if I am only doing offense, and Howler defense, we may not even get to a certain city or area for days. Just a thought.

no, i am going to recruit also with on coach and then with the other i will run practices.

The only guys you will need to go out and scout/visit/offer will be those guys in those 4 all-star games I divided between us. (5 for me since I get and extra 15 hours)


that first post you are referring to just ignore. we will all be doing the O, and the D for those 1st team guys in those areas.

All you wil have to do to see the guys you need to go look at is go into the recruiting page and then click on the HS-allstar games. from the just click on one of the teams from that game and it will show you the first team guys. Then just click on the other team in you assigned game to get their first teamers.

uhh sorry i spent my hours before i came on here. i visited ohio-michigan, illinois-great lakes, and the florida one. anyways, there's a really good cb named terrence hampton (?) right outside cleveland, but i didn't have enough hours to visit. could one of you guys handle it for me?

Howler, it is good that you scouted the Ohio/Michigan game since I couldn't due to a conflict with another all-star game. I will go to Cleveland and check him out before going out west.

so much great talent in florida. i've already offered scholarships to 3 70+ qb's. after im done with florida i'll go up to the midwest areas i scouted

think we go slow down on offering guys.lol we have almost double the offers out as scholarships to give away. I don't want to scare off a guy who may commit by us having out to many offers.

Just do the home visits and see if we can get them to visit campus for a bit.

Then we can all call them to keep their interest up in case we loose on of the ones we have already offered.

If there are any recruits from California that may not need a scholarship right now, feel free to rescind.

I will probably go through the whole list tonight.


I do know we need to get us a few TE's on our prospect list and maybe even offer one as we will be loosing our #1 TE after this year.


I think we did really really well in finding a lot of top notch talent early this year. It looks as if FL, and CA have had a break out year in producing talent. TX is down a little bit, but the Mid-West seems to be up as well.

I will call as many of these guys as I can (36 of them) with my 2nd coach. Then continue to run practice with my main coach. If you could run 2 sets of cardio and 2 sets of weights for the OFF. starters and then Howler could do the same for the D we should be good to go.

then if needed we can go out and try and land more prospects. I will be happy as long as we can sign 15 of these guys. We don't have to fill every scholarship this year. We can always save them for a year we only have a few to offer.

I am out of hours for today. Do you want me to run 2 sets of cardio and lifting for the offense from now on?

yeah, then just divide up the guys on the prospect list between you and Howler. You may have a few hours left over to run normal practices as well.

QB- Pitt
RB- Dobson
WR- Anderson
WR- Whitworth
TE- Ardis
C- Turner
G- Frank
G- Huber
T- Poling
T- Farley

against Texas and Texas A&M and then the play-offs we will just run 1st team to include the SR's. instead of the above list.

You will still have 40 hours left over to go out and call prospects and recruit if need be after doing 2 of those a piece.

i actually just ran 5 practices from copying what you ran. i'll work on the D tomorrow

sounds good, if you are doing some changes to yours for the TX game and need to use your hours on practices to get them strait instead of calling prospects let me know and I will either call them or just skip over it to get our guys more practices.


I would like to use all 30 practices up just for that game to get the maximum bump we can.

I have already made some changes to my GL play that should stop those freaking quick passes they do.

who is this malik naranjo? we offered him a scholarship and haven't even scouted him

do we really need to give darren foster a scholarship? if he tops out at 67, we have a ton of better cb's than him

i don't know if you guys have noticed, but *fingers crossed* i think we got the top 2 recruits on our board, the athlete stickler and the qb from FL. we're the only team ranked as a high on either of their boards... if we get them, that'll be INSANE! by the way, i suggest we rescind the scholarship of that other 5 star athlete just so we don't scare stickler away?

if the other teams have dropped to low them we have them !! man those are 2 big big signings !!!

congrats Howler!! as I believed you found both.

we're also the only team on a G lamar moore's board! he rates in the lo 70s at guard, great signing there too!

couple of funny things i noticed about our recriting class this year. 1) our other qb crush decommitted once he found out that mcerrol was joining us. 2) we got 3 rb recruits, and none of them are gonna start a game for us

thats great. Players coming here that rate high that won't play right away is just adding depth to our team and showing that our talent levels are rising. Sounds like some redshirting will be going on

yep, there will be a lot of red-shirting at the RB position. I will be making 2 of those guys into FB's as well that way we can have a speedster there to get in more FB runs just to throw off people a little more that pay attention to the fact that I never run with them.
