well not much to do other than make some new plays and evaluate... i made a couple of new offensive plays, and a generic defense zone cover play. i do have a spread wr screen that i wanna try out, where the outside receiver breaks in while the slot blocks his man. it might be a good goalline buster play

sounds good. Also take a look at Johnny Johnson. he is an ATH. if you can use him then go ahead. If you don't want him let me know and I will turn him into a TE for us.

We also have those 2 JUCO DT's on our board that have not been offered yet. I have my son out scouting still and I have been doing some as well. I don't know why they are not showing up on our board though(even the one I scout).

Those 2 are decent but, not "must take" as we still have a little depth there. Your call on if you want to offer to them or not. I will go out on signing day and try to get a few late commits that have de-commited from other schools.

On the plus side. No-one let early for the draft and no one is transfering out or in.

He is the ATH we signed last year and red shirted for this season. he shows up top under ATH on the depth chart.

If I recall right he rated mid-60's on just about every position we scouted him at. he is to slow to play in the secondary but, could be a good LB or possibly a good DE by his SR year if we build him up. On the O side he is to slow to play RB or WR so, figure the best bet for him there might be TE or FB.

yeah, I saw he rated high there on you last eval and I was going to ask you again if you were sure about me having him. lol

I honestly have no where on the O for him without it taking me 3 years of strait practices to build him up. I think he would be better off on the D. I did practice him a little throughout the season at LB so he should be getting a decent roll-over boost for LB as well.

hey guys, I may need you help LPCing a little more this season. I am in the middle of moving and I am not sure as to what my new work schedule will be. I put all of our tough games on the weekend so, I should be able to make those. Our home game should all be at 8 or 9 pm so, those should not be a problem either.

If we get some early games on weekdays though we may be out of luck as far as me being there. I am redoing my play so that I can divide them up on which ones I want ran on normal/medium/short/GL on the game plan. So, if you get stuck you should be able to let the GP call and then just call 4th downs if we are in range to go for it.

I will also put up a new play call list of my best plays for you guys to copy down so you can just look at you sheets and know which ones are high % plays. I put in a couple of new runs and a couple of new passes that are high % plays to the TE that should get 15-20 yards every time we run them. I have a few more i will also be putting in for the run game to get us more run plays to the right side.

Howler, you may want to check you D plays as they have added 2 more D formations and O formations for us to use this year. They have 2 new wildcat formations for the O. You may want to adjust for those so that the QB who will be split out as a WR is covered.

be sure to check out the scrimmages as we have one each day against other teams. One today at 8 pm and one tomorrow at 12pm.

wow... we need to really use the new wildcat plays well. a lot of trick plays we can do with this

i seen it. It looks pretty good ! those LB's get in there pretty quick causing chaos. Just one suggestion you may try. Is the FS in coverage vs the slot receiver? If so, have him spy him instead. It will bring him up closer to the line of scrimmage where he is strait across from the slot WR making him keep closer pass coverage on him vs. coming all the way up from the deep safety spot to try and cover him.

FS? from what i remember of the play design i put one safety in deep coverage, and everyone close to the LoS is blitzing. i also brought out olb and right DE into contain for tosses. think i should have the lolb drop into coverage instead?

maybe it's the deep zone that threw me off. It looked as if #49 was coving the slot but, just playing way off of him and not making up the ground in time.

Today is the last day to get all your new plays activated. Season roll-over will be tomorrow and those that you didn't save will have to be practiced the whole 5 times again.

As soon as roll over hits let try and get the evals done. My son and i will take the O if you guys can do the D side. Just devise them up how ever you need to before hand to get them all done in one day.

I watched our scrimmage against PITT yesterday since I didn't get to LPC it. We looked pretty good. We were up 48-7 before the backups came in and they made a comeback. You may want to go in and adjust the game plan on the D side Howler. I re-did the one for the O yesterday.

sounds good. by the way, webb is damn fast at olb! i can guarantee he's going to get double digit sacks EASY this year, maybe even a defensive award? he's already replaced wright as the #1 olb

I finished moving yesterday. I will hopefully find out my schedule tomorrow when i report in for work here. I hope I get the night shift but, we will see. All of our home games got scheduled at 8pm as I had hoped. We do have some early away games though. Hopefully I will get to call some of those if not i will need you guys to do them.


make sure you get your evals done as well as practices. Our RB's had some nice jumps at roll-over. i am going to try and focus on getting our QB some accuracy drills in to improve him there. His jump was not as high as I had expected it to be.

We should have a pretty good year again though. The Big 12 is way down in competition with the departure of the KU and KSU coaches. It should come down to us and Texas.

Duke is our only non-conference threat as they went 11-1 I believe last season.

I called him today to see why he hadn't been on the last couple of days and he said his mom grounded him. lol

he is supposed to get one and remove his coach though so i can bring my second one back over until he is un-grounded.

hey sooner could you get that final spot filled up before HS recruiting comes out? we'll need the extra manpower to cover all the zones

wrstephen, the OC of Maryland, has ask me if I have a spot on our staff. He is kind of new, doesn't run his mouth in the forum. He did say he had a few plays for O and D.

Only bad thing I see is that we have a lot of recruiting to do next year and would be loosing out on 15 hours if my coach leaves and he comes over.

However I was thinking of giving my 2nd coach to my son when he comes off being grounded that way he will have a play book already and can just play the games since he is really to young to know how to make plays and all of that and he is not here for me to show him how until summer.
