season roll-over should be tonight. if it is make sure we get a of our guys evaled. I can do the O with both of my guys if you guys can handle getting the D done.

hey sooner, i scouted a bit of rb, wr and qb and got through my D-line and linebackers. couple of things: ira simpson improved a lot, he's definitely our best qb now going off our evals. and that transfer we have, garner, is amazing. he dobbs and lynch were consistently the best rb's according to my evals, and he and dobbs are both B+ speed. also, on offense whitworth has B+ speed and a pretty high ranking. definitely a weapon we need to use. maybe think about putting him as the #3 so even the ace passes involve him?

and talk to me about any personnel changes you think are necessary in the defense. our JUCO DT is pretty good, i think he'll make a good DT for us in goalline situations

also, i tried to get in as many practices as i could since the field is open for 35 practices today and i figure we should use as much of it as possible. the only change we need to make for our practice lineup is to use shawn howell instead of the senior charles james

yeah, I saw Dobbson had a good improvement from last season. I may give him the start over Lynch just based off speed. I have them evaled with Lynch only 1 point ahead of Dobbson. Dobbson's speed could be killer though for us.

For WR's the one thing that kind of worries me about Whittworth is that his hands are only a C. Both Clifton and price have comparable speed and they both have hands that rate a B. I am kind of leaning towards red-shirting Whitworth and then working him in drills the same way we did Dobbson to get him a big boost for next season.

Yeah, that transfer ATH was killer at both RB and WR. Just sucks he has to sit out a year and then we only get to use him for his SR. season....

oh man, i forgot about that transfer situation. that really sucks for us, but our rb rotation will be nasty next year. also, a good side effect for us is that we're getting much better development scores over time.

yeah, we should have a lot of time to run nothing but practices this year with only having 6 guys we have to sign.

Also I read that there is a cheat to the practice to where once you run all your team practices if you have hours left you can g in and do cardio and weights and it will count against you coach sessions you have left.

maybe we should try it and see if it works out.

Did you happen to notice if it counted against our practices for today ? That is the thing i was worried about. I figured it may give them to you and them take away from our team practices for the next days count.

yeah, i saw that as well. i watched a couple of their games from last season and they like to do outside runs to both sides a lot.

How did you and DS do against them the last time you guys played ?

our offense was so bad and we couldn't complete a pass all game, but our defense was outstanding. i think we had 9 sacks that game? our 3-4 blitzes killed their play action passes

good win for you guys sooner. although i'm sort of confused why an unranked team was made to play in a BCS bowl...

UCon won the Big East somehow. Not to much of a power conference like they used to be. I am just glad OU didn't decide to slack off and not play like they usually do in bowl games...

yeah, that was a great game. I honesty did not even expect Oregon to stay with Auburn in that game.

I was pulling for Oregon. Chip Kelley, their head coach, is the former OC for the University of New Hampshire and a Manchester, NH native.

hey guys try and enjoy you next two weeks off. I you get the chance check out the game logs on the calendar and try and copy some of these plays. I will be doing a lot of it on the O from both TX and OSU.

I was also told if you use FireFox you can download a script that will tell you what the other team is doing pretty much exact. I am going to get with my source and have him walk me through it and then i will post it in here for you guys.

You may also want to scout the rest of the play-off game to see more of what those teams are dong and see if we can get any ideas from it.

Well, since my son has yet to get back to me and all the coach firing took place today I went out looking for another good coach to join us and help us grow stronger.

I send out a message to czechone71 K-State's old coach since he is no longer with them. He is pretty solid with O and with D so, I feel he can help us out if he accepts the offer. Hopefully he will.

if you guys notice any other coaches who are un-employed now just post them here in case czechone decides to decline we will have a list of guys we can talk to and for us to decide who will be a good fit for us.

I'll keep my eyes open. Tough game yesterday. I see you came out swinging though. Hit 'em first and early, but it didn't pan out after that. Oh well. We continue to make strides in the right direction.

ya know, we did really good the first quarter and a half I think. The thing that really hurt us was all those damn blocked punts. I am going to edit my punt play to keep in 3 or 4 guys for protection to eliminate that crap.

Our D and our O did pretty good though for a bit. They just had more talent and wore us down. I think the main thing on D is figuring out a way to stop those off-tackle runs and we need to improve our run game on the O side.

I did a copy of the Ohio Sate run that killed us from the power I. Go check out the last 2 practices I ran and you can check it out. I finished editing it for all D formations but, not enough hours to run a practice to see what it looks like against the others yet. I will get that tomorrow.

I have a few new pass routes I am going to add also to some of my old plays to make then more effective as well.

aside from the off tackle runs, the other thing that hurt us on D was how i'd have to completely sell out against either run or pass to get a stop. otherwise they'd just keep hitting us for 10 yard gains. we just couldn't do much about it
