week 3 Duke

this is supposed to be a pretty tough team. RVJ has left them though so not sure if they will be as good as last season..

i have class so i can't make the game, but here's the playcall list:

GOALLINE
GL zone blitz- this is a really good mid rush/short pass play D. the nose and ends drop back into coverage while the MLB's blitz the A gap. it's weak against off tackle runs.

Mid GL blitz- pretty standard blitz. it's like the nickel blitz but from the goalline formation.

NICKEL
Mid blitz-DT's stunt outside, LB's come up the middle.

Blitz- DT's play straight up, LB's come through the middle.

I just checked out some of Duke's stats. They are not good. They are averaging 13.5 points a game. The lost their fist one 13-7 and beat a cpu team 14-0.

yeah, they look like crap with out RVJ there running the team. I watched a bit of their game yesterday and they like to run a 4-6 blitz play on D. It shouldn't give me to much trouble though.

their O looks like complete crap..

On a side note I have been trying to allow 0 points a game. I got burned on an 80 yd pass in the first game vs baylor on their very first play

then score as many as possible on the O side. I want you guys to win those awards for O and D master.

I saw those scores and the 80 yard td on the box score. I figured it must have been a fluke

Hope you like those stats for the D Howler. 84 total yards, 2 INT's, 7 sacks. Those kids never had a chance even with the poor game from our QB.
